I've been headbanging here, upgrading the blog a bit: The comment listings on the left, and the search now works.

Sean Lennon, 29, and his mother, Yoko Ono, 72, arrive at the Broadway opening of the musical Lennon Sunday night.
Lennon, the musical, opened on Broadway Sunday night after bad out-of-town reviews and a reworking that apparently didn't work.

How's this for a spearing lead? NYT (Then John Met Yoko, and the Rest Is a Musical):

In the immortal words of Yoko Ono, "Aieeeee!" A fierce primal scream -- of the kind Ms. Ono is famous for as a performance and recording artist -- is surely the healthiest response to the agony of "Lennon," the jerry-built musical shrine that opened last night at the Broadhurst Theater.

Ouch.

Ticket prices range from $46.25 to $101.25 and from $44.25 - $91.25 on Wednesday matinees.

Playbill dishes the opening-night celebrity scene that included Ralph Nader, Geraldo Rivera, Eartha Kitt, Liza Minelli, Rev. Al Sharpton and Roberta Flack and has only happy words to quote.

Headline writers just couldn't restrain themselves. (Maybe bad art is contagious):
