The St. Petersburg Times finds the timeless tragedy in the hard news of a hit-and-run,. There is a roundness to the resolution of this tear in the way things should be, not unlike that of a play by the Greeks where Fate looms large. Fine reporting, writing and storytelling by Thomas French, Christopher Goffard and Jamie Thompson keep you on the edge of your seat. I took it in five chunks, the way it was published, and kept coming back for more after a few minutes elsewhere. Each of the parts includes photos that literally put faces on these names, but some of their captions are spoilers if you read them before the text on that page.
