I lost a long post just before saving it when my system crashed with 89 Firefox tabs open. I know better. But one page at The Daily Mail kept doing it again and again. I won't point you there. There's an extension for Firefox called Session Manager that allows you to save sessions and will remember sessions when Firefox crashes. I am 99.9% sure that it also saves anything you started to write in a web form but did not submit or save. It has saved me on more than 1 occasion.

Not this time, Jim. The form is on a passworded site, so Session Manager opened to its login screen. I hadn't saved, so it wasn't on that site.
btw, Session Manager is built into Firefox 2.+ now.
