Hot and humid today, highs in the mid-90s. It may be too hot to type later, and it's already too hot to think. Let's drink icy coolers and listen to tunes.
1 (6-oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed Mint springs for garnish Combine the orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, pineapple juice and grenadine in a large container and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Pour into a punch bowl. Using a melon baller or small ice cream scoop, add the lemon sorbet to the mixture. Add the ginger ale and vodka (if desired). Garnish with the strawberries, lemons and mint. Makes about 16 servings.
I don't know why Sweden's popping up -- the Detective Inspector Huss books I wrote about yesterday are set in Goteborg, too. The real thing: THE WHO, The 1969 Soundboard Tapes Vol. 1 - Restored & Remastered [no label, 1CD] "Personally, I believe these are all rough mixes, made from the multitracks. These shows were recorded for a live album, but the tapes were rejected. It is claimed that Pete 'burned all of the tapes". If this is true, I assume he burned the multitrack tapes, and not the mixdown tapes of which you can hear here. Vol 2 will be available Saturday, Vol. 3 on Sunday, whenever these days start in Singapore. |
