Extraordinary Uses for 16 Ordinary Household Items at Woman's Day. They're fun to read, frugal, easy, and some even lead to "Why didn't I think of that?" moments: Line a flowerpot with a coffee filter to keep soil from leaching out the drainage hole; hard cheese wrapped in a cloth soaked in vinegar won't mold; lift plastic wrap with a piece of tape to see where the edge of the roll begins. But others need to be rethought by someone who does not have tape holding her eyeglasses together. Such as this one:
My contribution: It's a little out of season, but... if flies get into the house, hunt them down with the long tube or hose of a vacuum cleaner attachment (while the appliance is running, of course). |
