The Times U.K. links 50 of the world's best food blogs. No, not just those trying to overcome the scourge of English food. (Artichoke: Best of British Food is #47.) The blogs hail from everywhere bloggers write in English -- including Asia and Australia. If I were cooking tonight, and focusing on recipes, I'd be tempted to make Heidi Swanson's Porcini Mushroom Soup Recipe at 101 Cookbooks. But since we have good leftovers -- roast chicken, paella, roasted vegetable tian -- I'm just looking. The best food bloggers are food stylists and photographers, as well as slow cookbook authors. See what Ilva, the Swede living in Tuscany and writing Lucullian Delights, does with Chestnut, Parmesan And Rosemary Filled Brussels Sprouts. Smitten Kitchen photographs plain food especially well.
