There must be a million Dylan bootlegs by now, the man's been on the road so long. But...

This was a very muscular performance sans the elegance and old-time style of The Band or the communal get together of Rolling Thunder, Dylan's band tonight rocked hard in a modern fashion. Listen to the horns blare sharply. Dylan has to scream.

Del Shannon is best remembered for two hits, Runaway and Hats Off To Larry. He then had a top 20 hit with Little Town Flirt in 1962, just a year after his first two big hits. His career then languished.

...His biggest fans remain his peers. Del Shannon committed suicide in 1990 with a gunshot to the head. The Travelling Wilburys honored Shannon by recording their version of his biggest hit, Runaway. Individually, they had all been recording with Shannon on what became his final album, Rock On.
