I tried it. Typing in French at first, my stranger soon revealed herself as a 17-year-old named Joy from the upper East Side of Manhattan. Or maybe she's a vice cop. I told her I could easily be her mother and would leave her to chat with a nice local high school boy. It felt creepy.
