The 2009 Pulitzer Prizewinners and Nominated Finalists Breaking News award went to "The New York Times Staff for its swift and sweeping coverage of a sex scandal that resulted in the resignation of Gov. Eliot Spitzer, breaking the story on its Web site and then developing it with authoritative, rapid-fire reports." Here's a Google News link that will be updating. I'll try to get links to the winning work later -- my home computer is undergoing some hardware repairs, so it's time to get acquainted again with my backup laptop. Some of the winning stories and photos are available now by clicking on the prize category on that top winners link, then clicking on the "Works" tab.
