This is everywhere today because it's an extraordinary experience on a TV show usually steeped in snark. Greeted by eye-rolling and titters, 47-year-old Susan Boyle auditioned Saturday night for American Idol judge Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden on Britains Got Talent. Watch what happens. It's more than worth it. It's 5:49. (Longer version (7:08), with some backstage scenes before and after). Get a hanky. 3 CommentsLeave a comment |

I've been dragging my feet over watching Miss Boyle - all the hype put me off. Well I got my comeuppance all right. And you were right, too. You needs a hanky to watch.
Now I want more.

John, I did the same thing as you -- resisted it at first -- and when I watched I was surprised to find myself so moved. I showed it to my husband, who spontaneously said, "I teared up." We were both surprised by the depth of feeling it stirred up.
It's better than "Rocky." Much better.

Susan Boyle is great and an instant celebrity. But my favorite is still Paul Potts (just Google him and you shall see)!
