The headline got me to click. Genuine awe is hard to come by. 8 Awe-Inspiring Swimming Pools at Woman's Day.

The pool in the photo above overlooks the Indian Ocean, and took me there.

Below it, I read that it's "a pool dubbed the 'epitome of infinity'--so named because it appears to blend right into its surrounding scenery." Is that all infinity is? Hail Chameleon!

It's a sheet of water, patterns of light stirred by wind, unsuited to words.


Reality check: Room rates start around $900 a night, the villa goes for $9,291.
