A Minotaur rocket on the launch pad at Wallops Island, Va. Launch of a similar rocket was postponed last week when it rained every night in its 5-day launch window. All systems are go for a rescheduled launch tonight.
After being rained out last week, NASA Wallops (NASA_Wallops) on Twitter confirms that the launch of the Minotaur rocket from Wallops Island, Va., looks good for tonight.
We are "GO" for launch this evening for the Minotaur 1/TacSat-3 mission from Wallops.
The weather there and here in Rhode Island should be very clear. Look in the sky to the southwest -- where you imagine the tip of Long Island is. The launch window is between 7:35 and 11:30 p.m., but they'll go as early as they can.
The Twitter link above will tweet the countdown live.
