Ingenious: Washing machine that uses one cup of water. Telegraph (UK). It's from Xeros Ltd, there's a demo video, and you can't buy it yet. First, hotels will test it.

Federico Feline: Moscow Cat Theater. The video suggests it's more of a family circus than a theater. No Shakespeare.

Um: Wordnik: "An ongoing project devoted to discovering all the words and everything about them."

Vaguely related: Abecedarian blog, by Craig Conley, the author of All-Vowel Dictionary, which may be read online.

Aum: Summer solstice. Big pictures from Saturday's gatherings around the world; AP, AFP and Getty compiled by the Sacramento Bee.

trailer1.jpgOccupied: Blogger Heather McDougal (Cabinet of Wonders) of Davenport, Calif., was excited to buy a teardrop trailer for camping. Unfortunately, it came with an infestation of black widow spiders: Ze Widow, She Is Black.
