On a road trip: Jeff Hodge, on top of the car, is the heroin-addicted Jeremy and Michael A. LoCicero is Derrick, who hijacks him, in Hugging the Shoulder. A projection screen in the background is an element in the scene.

Want to go to a drive-in and see a play? It's happening Fridays and Saturdays from July 24 (tonight) through Aug. 8 at 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot behind Hope Artiste Village,
1005 Main St., Pawtucket, thanks to Amber Kelly's Theater of Thought.

On the bill, the New England premiere of Hugging the Shoulder by Jerrod Bogard -- "the story of Derrick, a 20-something Southern guy, who kidnaps his older brother, stuffs him into a van, and takes him on a grueling road trip trying to get him off heroin."
