Football season kicks off today, but not for us. The Patriots play tomorrow night on Monday Night Football. So if you're looking for something interesting to do, you might peek into Pawtucket Open Studios. Artists, craftspeople and mill-based businesses at Lorraine Mills, 558 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket open their studios to the public this weekend. Bam Cigar will demonstrate how they roll them in Unit # BF 119 (exterior door east side of building). It's all free. Lots of parking, just wander around the mill bilding, stopping at studios that look interesting to you. Another event that's under the radar: Great voices. Tickets are $15 and $25. |
