Which 'Clunkers' got traded for what, by state

That's a screenshot of Rhode Island's data at right.

Every New England state shed 4WD Ford Explorers -- as did most of the rest of the country -- but what we bought varied: New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island went for Toyota Corollas; Connecticut, the Hyundai Elantra; Maine, Ford Focus AWD, and Vermont, the Subaru Forester AWD.
