Tradition endures of serving seven fish dishes on Christmas Eve includes Broiled Smelts, Baccala Salad, Fennel & Basil Salmon, and, separately, Jumbo Stuffed Shrimp Italian Style, Stuffed Calamari, Fried Calamari Rings or Smelts with Balsamic Pepperoncini Sauce, Frutti Di Mare Over Linguine, above, Jean's Baked Fish, Mom's Struffoli (honey balls).
