A peat farmer parks his load outside a pub in Drumlish, Ireland, Saturday afternoon.

Saturday night, we heard live music in two pubs, including two versions of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" and a "Mr. Tambourine Man." Bands signal last call by launching into the Irish national anthem, everybody stands and sings along and then it's over. No encores.

Today we take the Aran Isles ferry to unspoiled Inis Meain and, ironically, unlimited wifi at last.
