sophia_george.jpgIn 1985 his mom, reggae singer Sophia George, had a number one hit in Jamaica with Girlie, Girlie. She married her music producer. Ronald Chung, who is half Jamaican and half Chinese, and their son Patrick was born in Kingston in 1987. He toured with his parents as a toddler, although he doesn't remember it. The family moved first to Florida and then settled in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., when he was 10. He has four brothers and three sisters.

The Patriots drafted the former Oregon Duck last year with the 34th overall selection, a pick acquired from Kansas City in the trade for quarterback Matt Cassel and outside linebacker Mike Vrabel.
